How to create solid from sketched shape

Version 0.13
  1. Click [File]-[New] in menu bar and create new document.
  2. Move to Part Design workbenchPartDesign workbench
  3. Select "New Sketch"Sketcher_NewSketch from the toolbar and enter following parameters in displayed dialog. Click OK to cleate new sketch plane.
    • Sketch orientation : XY-Plane
    • Reverse direction : Not checked
    • Offset : 0.0

  4. Select "Circle"Sketcher_Circle from the toolbar and draw rough circle on sketch plane.

  5. Click a center of the circle and the center becomes selected state(green color). After the selection, I select the "Lock"Sketcher_ConstrainLock from the toolbar.

  6. Coordinates of the center point are displayed on 3D View as numbers. Click the number and enter "0" in each. The center of the circle is constrained by this operation.
  7. Next, select the circle and click "Radius"Constraint_Radius.

  8. A radius of the circle is displayed on 3D View as number. Click the number and enter "20". The radius of the circle is constrained to 20 by this operation.
  9. Select [Part Design]-[Leave Sketch] in menu bar to leave sketch editing mode.
  10. Selecte the created sketch on Tree View and execute "Pad"PartDesign_Pad. In padding operation, enter padding length to the text box on Combo View at bottom left of the window and click OK.

  11. A cylindrical centered (0, 0) and has radious 20 is created by above operations. Solid of various forms can be created from any sketches by a similar process.
